Rooms

Essay, Research, Product, Notes — four doors, no public corridor.

A room has a door. A mode has a switch. Hikari uses rooms so you notice when the work has changed.

Essay

Dawn. Long work. The lamp traces argument, not ornament. No outline from a blank page.

Research

Afternoon. Sources stay on the table. The lamp may ask what is missing. It may not summarize unread work.

Product

Late day. Interface copy, letters to customers, the sentence on a button. Two alternatives in the margin, then stop.

Notes

Anytime. A pocket for a line you overheard. The studio will not turn it into a thread or a task list.

Changing rooms

You close one door and open another. Paste is allowed. The house will mark that the page has moved. It will not silently apply Product voice to an Essay.
