What Hikari refuses to finish
A list of completions the studio will not offer, even when a writer asks twice.

People assume a writing tool should complete whatever is in front of it. Hikari is built around a shorter list: the things it will not complete.
The ending of an essay
If you have not written toward an ending, the lamp will not invent one. It can ask what the last true sentence was. That is different.
A citation you have not opened
The Research room will not summarize a source from a title. It will not tidy a bibliography you have not touched. Unread remains unread.
A voice that is not on the page
Style guides can sit in configuration. They cannot be used to ventriloquize a person who has not spoken yet. If the page is empty, the lamp stays dark.
A public version of a private draft
Share views are explicit. There is no “make this ready for Twitter.” There is a shutter, and it is closed until a named seat opens it.
Shadows on tatami are enough decoration. We do not need a product that finishes your life.
